Paint Your Own

My sweet, talented friend Amanda Trueman made this awesome Homegirl platter. Isn't it just fab?

She made it at a paint-your-own pottery place. I know these types of shops have been around forever, but I think they can be such a great destination on a rainy day. I love taking the girls. They always have so much fun picking out the piece they want to make. And it's so cool to watch them create their own masterpiece. It's truly a memory-making outing. And in the case of my platter, a really amazing gift!

  1. Very cute! I love the pottery place in Fairlawn, All Fired Up. Great date night too! :-)

  2. Thanks for the "shout out," my friend! Fun to see the platter again and think back to our Atlanta Market adventure. So fun to check-out your blog tonight - sorry, it's been a while - great to catch-up on everything. Macrame owl is a "HOOT!" I remember macrame plant hangers my mom had, probably an owl, too, with some natural sticks weaved in as the owls perch. I know you are itching with excitement and lots on your mind - stay focussed and get to work, Homegirl, your future is very BRIGHT!!! Love you and support you 110%!
